Zhivaya Niva began to engage in organic farming in 2009. At the moment, 2.69 thousand hectares are cultivated in accordance with the EU standard without the use of prohibited fertilizers and plant protection products. The cultivated land is certified in accordance with standards equivalent to EC-834/2007 and 889/2008 (Organic Standard certification body). The main crops in the structure of the company's crop rotation are soybeans, sunflower, spelled, buckwheat, rye and phacelia. In addition, the farm is engaged in seed production. During the AgroExpedition Soy 2016, the management of Zhivaya Niva said that it was cooperating with Bioland (Germany), and also intends to undergo certification for compliance with the Bio Suisse (Switzerland) standard.
