For several years, there has been an extremely tough competition on the soybean market of Ukraine between soybean exporters and processing enterprises.

Maria Kolesnik, Deputy Director of ProAgro Group, spoke about this in a commentary to AgroTimes.

“According to our estimates, the export of soybeans from Ukraine in 2021/22 MY will increase to 2.3 million tons against last year's 1.9 million tons, and the export of soybean oil – 200 thousand tons against 170 thousand tons,” she said.

Those. external supplies of soybeans will increase by 21%, soybean oil – by 18%.

Now, according to the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food, 1.49 million tons of soybeans have been threshed, which is 46% of the forecast.
