Harvesting of corn and soybeans started in Ukraine
The farmers began harvesting corn and soybeans. This is evidenced by operational data published on September 3 on the website of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy.
According to the data, as of September 2, corn for grain in the country as a whole was harvested at 0.1% of the planned area, threshing is 25.8 thousand tons with a yield of 59.9 c / ha.
Soybeans were harvested on 0.2% of the planned area, of which 15.7 thousand tons were harvested, the yield is 56.7 c / ha.
As for the rest of the crops, wheat was harvested on 99.6% of the planned area, of which 32.81 million tons of grain were harvested with a yield of 46.4 c / ha. Barley is harvested on almost 99.6% of the forecasted area, the gross harvest is estimated at 10.094 million tons, the yield is 41 c / ha.
In addition, buckwheat is being harvested - from 21.3% of the forecasted area, the harvest is 21.1 thousand tons of grain with a yield of 11.8 c / ha and millet - from 33.3% of the area, 58.2 thousand tons are threshed with a yield 22.3 c / ha.
In general, grain and leguminous crops as of September 2, were harvested at 64.2% of the projected areas, of which 44.93 million tons of grain were harvested with a yield of 43.9 c / ha.
Sunflower was harvested on 1.2% of the area, 38.8 thousand tons were harvested with a yield of 17.7 c / ha.
Rape was threshed on 99.7% of the planned area, from which 2.816 million tons of oilseed were harvested with an average yield of 27.9 c / ha.
