It is especially difficult for dairy farms during the war. But milk processing plants, which can additionally receive and process raw materials from regions where logistics is temporarily disrupted, accept milk and launch additional lines.

Roman Leshchenko, Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food, announced this on his Facebook page.

“Milk, which cannot yet be supplied to factories, is distributed by farms in territorial communities, delivered independently and through volunteers to feed socially vulnerable segments of the population,” he said. “Farms are adapting and not stopping.”

Information and consulting support in establishing the supply of milk for processing, by order of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy, is provided by the Association of Milk Producers (AVM).
