The government drew attention to the consolidation of plots ahead of the launch of the land market
On April 21, the Cabinet of Ministers approved the bill "On Amendments to Certain Legislative Acts of Ukraine on the Consolidation of Lands," said Vasily Mokan, People's Deputy and Permanent Representative of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine in the Verkhovna Rada.
According to him, "it is proposed to improve the legal regulation of relations on land consolidation by defining the organizational and legal foundations of consolidation, the grounds, methods and procedure for carrying out the consolidation."
Mocan recalled that in connection with the introduction of the market turnover of agricultural land in Ukraine from July 1, 2021, it becomes necessary to establish a rule on compulsory consolidation based on ownership.
The authors of the project believe that in addition to consolidation in a narrow sense (as information in one place of plots of one owner), by redistributing land, it will eliminate various disadvantages of land use. This will contribute to the growth of the market value of land plots and create conditions for the development of market lease relations.
Additionally. The Page previously talked about land reform: how much a hectare will cost and who can buy it.
“An ordinary Ukrainian will not be able to get ownership of land from the state fund,” warned the head of the State Geocadastre about the inevitable future on the land market.
