Astarta received a €6 million loan for the sowing campaign
Raiffeisen Bank Ukraine (Raiffeisen Bank International AG Group, Austria) and JSC OTP Bank (TP Bank Plc., Hungary) opened credit lines for ASTARTA Holding N.V. ("Astarta-Kyiv") for a total amount of UAH 190 million. (€6 million) to finance seasonal operations.
This is stated in the message of the board of directors of the company on the Warsaw Stock Exchange.
As noted, in the context of the ongoing Russian military aggression, it is extremely important to maintain the food security of Ukraine, which is preparing for the spring sowing campaign.
For reference: Astarta is a vertically integrated agro-industrial holding operating in the Poltava, Vinnitsa, Khmelnytsky, Ternopil, Zhytomyr, Chernihiv, Cherkasy and Kharkiv regions. The holding includes eight sugar factories, agricultural enterprises with a land bank of about 250 thousand hectares and dairy farms. 7 high-tech elevator complexes of the company are located in the Poltava, Khmelnitsky and Vinnitsa regions. The total storage capacity is 562 thousand tons. In 2014, the holding commissioned a soybean processing plant in the Poltava region (LLC Globinsky Processing Plant).
