Lviv region will help farmers whose crops or equipment have suffered from bad weather

Lviv region became the first region in Ukraine to introduce local support for small farmers in emergency situations at the expense of the regional budget.

This was reported by the press service of the Department of Agroindustrial Development of the Lviv Regional State Administration.

The Lviv Regional Council included in the list of measures of the program for support and development of agriculture such a direction of financing as the provision of soft loans to recover losses from the consequences of emergencies. Together with preferential loans for farmers participating in the ATO (OOS) and the implementation of business plans at 5% per annum, 10 million hryvnias were allocated in the regional budget for this.

In total, in 2022, UAH 20.7 million will be allocated to support the agricultural sector of the Lviv region.
