A maltose plant worth UAH 34.7 million is put up for sale in the Ternopil region
The State Property Fund of Ukraine (SPFU) announced an online auction for the sale of the Buchatsk maltose plant on October 18, the starting price of the enterprise is UAH 34.7 million. This was reported by the press service of the State Property Fund on Facebook.
"Buchatsky maltose plant (Ternopil region) is one of the first objects of the Ukrspirt concern, which is put up for a privatization auction," the statement says.
The company specializes in the processing of starch-containing substances, the production and rectification of alcohol. In addition, the plant can produce juices and other non-alcoholic beverages, but after 10 years of inactivity, it is unable to compete with modern factories.
The Fund added that the enterprise resumed work only at the end of last year and needs modernization, and the entire facility needs to attract additional investments.
Among the conditions for privatization is the preservation of the core activity of the Buchatsk maltose plant for at least 4 years after the change of ownership, the press service of the department noted.
As a reminder, on September 15, a new corn processing plant was opened in the Cherkasy region.
