The production of agricultural drones will be launched in the Ternopil region
In the Ternopil region, preparations continue for the launch of the production of aircraft and ground unmanned vehicles that will be used in agriculture, forestry, wetlands, as well as in the field of processing agricultural products and in security. The head of the Lanovetsky community Roman Kaznovetsky spoke about this, writes gazeta1.
According to the official, thanks to sectoral support, the Lanovets Society won UAH 2.5 million for the implementation of the LANIVTSI industrial park. As Roman Kaznovetsky noted, the area of the park is 20 hectares. 2 hectares will be allocated for the construction of some kind of production, since the undeveloped area, according to the mayor, will be divided into 8 plots.
“Specialists came to us, analyzed the industrial park and suggested what would be good to do in the village of Lanovtsy. We discussed the food industry - the processing of agricultural products, a factory for the production of something. They gathered in the city council, analyzed whether it was good or not, but came to the conclusion that the food industry would have developed poorly. They took mechanical engineering into account, but, to be honest, they didn’t even think about the construction of drones,” said Roman Kaznovetsky.
As noted in the material, there is no concept of an industrial park in Ukraine yet, where, among other things, drones would be manufactured. They have a fairly good prospect for the future.
