The President signed a law on stimulating the activities of farms
Head of State Volodymyr Zelenskyy signed a bill "On Amendments to Certain Legislative Acts of Ukraine Regarding Stimulating the Activities of Farms". This was reported by the Minister of Agrarian Policy Roman Leshchenko. The document provides for state support for young Ukrainian farmers. Initially, farmers-economic managers up to 35 years old will be able to receive assistance for the implementation of their activities.
According to the document, in the first three years after the creation of farms, assistance is provided at the expense of the state budget, in particular through the Ukrainian State Fund for Support of Farms. Also, assistance can be provided at the expense of local budgets.
Farmers' estates, family farms, farms located in mountainous settlements, in Polesie territories, determined in accordance with the established procedure by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, can count on such assistance again.
The Minister of Agrarian Policy Roman Leshchenko noted that taking into account the aspects of land reform and the need to support the sector, the next step will be the parliamentary vote on the Law on Partial Loan Guarantee Fund No. 3202-D, which will provide the young farmer with affordable financial instruments to work on the land.
