They plan to create a tourist facility with a sheep breeding museum at a sheep farm in Donetsk region.

The project is planned to be implemented by Oleg Shilov, the founder of the AgroDom farm in the village of Torskoe, Limanskoye district, Donetsk region.

The farm was founded in 2013. Already in 2014, the premises of the farm were equipped, where cattle were previously kept and sheep were settled there. Now the enterprise contains more than 500 head of cattle. The main direction is meat. Also, the farm is engaged in the processing of animal waste.

“Our sheep are fat-tailed breeds, in particular the Gissar and Edilbaevskaya, also local. We grow it for meat, sell it in live weight. We sell a very small share at retail for local amateurs, and the bulk is bought by intermediaries, they organize export to the countries of the Middle East, etc. We produce eco-products of the highest quality, we offer one-year-old castrated lamb for meat. We sell animals for the tribe. We shear, we sell wool, but it is cheap from fat-tailed sheep. We process the droppings with plant residues into humification compost, which is in stable demand among gardeners,” said Shilov.

AgroDom already accepts tourists, but the owner of the farm wants the farm to be arranged in accordance with this: there were places for recreation, areas for “communication” with sheep, which is a kind of therapy, especially for children. To this end, the farmer began collecting money for Spilnokoshty.

“We are planning to create a tourist facility on the farm with a sheep breeding museum, fast food, a tourist route, and a playground. We started a campaign on Spilnokoshty, with interesting prizes for benefactors. This will be the first stage in the creation of a tourist facility,” says Shilov.
