$70 million noodle factory to be built in Kiev region
Rollton noodle and puree manufacturer Mareven Food Ukraine plans to invest $70 million in the construction of a plant in Bila Tserkva (Kyiv region) and in the distribution system of goods.
This was announced on Facebook by the People's Deputy and Secretary of the National Investment Council under the President of Ukraine Galina Yanchenko.
“This is a huge complex with warehouses, offices and a new product development center with an area of 16 hectares and a production capacity of 160,000 tons of finished products per year. I note Ukrainian products, because 70% of raw materials and materials are Ukrainian. And these are not just numbers, these are more than 1,000 jobs and the socio-economic development of the region,” the deputy wrote.
She noted that the company has already invested $60 million in food production in Ukraine.
“In particular, Mareven Food has a production facility in Bila Tserkva, which already provides jobs for more than 500 Ukrainians. Their second major project is a good signal not only for our producers, but also for all foreign investors,” Yanchenko added.
