The auction for the privatization of enterprises of the State Enterprise "Ukrspirt" - Borshchevsky place of production and storage of alcohol is scheduled for October 12.

This is reported by the press service of the State Property Fund of Ukraine on Facebook.

“Another object of Ukrspirt was put up for privatization. This time we are looking for a private investor for the Borshchevsky MPD and the storage of alcohol, which is located in the Ternopil region. The privatization auction will take place on October 12, and the starting price of the asset is UAH 28.1 million,” the statement says.

The privatization object includes fermentation departments, a mechanized malt house, a brewhouse, a protein feed workshop, a cannery building and other real estate located on land plots with a total area of ​​6 hectares.

As reported, the privatization of the alcohol industry began in Ukraine in the fall of 2020. In general, the state will put up 41 MPDs for privatization, which are part of the Ukrspirt state-owned enterprise and another 37 factories of the Ukrspirt concern. In 2020, 20 distilleries were privatized for a total of UAH 1.258 billion.
