In the previous month, UAH 478.8 million was sent to farmers for partial compensation of interest for the use of loans.

The total amount of payments is almost 565 million hryvnias.

It is noted that more than 2.6 thousand borrowers who have applied to authorized banks will receive compensation.

The total amount of loans raised by enterprises reaches UAH 190 billion, of which those subject to compensation - UAH 27.0 billion, including:

a) by types of loans:

• short-term - UAH 10.7 billion (39.6%);
• medium-term - UAH 10.1 billion (37.4%);
• long-term - UAH 6.2 billion (23%);

c) by type of activity of borrowers:

• livestock industry - UAH 4.5 billion (16.8%);
• other industries - UAH 22.5 billion (83.2%).

The average interest rates of banks, at which the subjects of agro-industrial complex attracted loans, reach 14-16% per annum.

Of the total number of authorized banks that signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Ministry of Economy, which is 37 banks, 31 banks took part in providing compensation for loans.

This year, 1.2 billion hryvnias have been earmarked for financial support of agro-industrial complex measures.

From the beginning of the year to July, 47.1% of the plan was actually used.
