Why do farmers need a social responsibility certificate and how to get it?

Business

Certification is a prerequisite for agricultural producers to enter foreign markets. We are talking about certificates confirming the quality of products, etc. Certain types of products, such as organic, require additional documents. Also, when it comes to exporting to European countries, an important component is the climatic footprint of enterprises, their social responsibility – all these factors are of interest to the European consumer. Farmers interested in entering the EU market can get a free consultation on this issue during the webinar “GRASP Social Responsibility Certificate for the European Market”.

The organizer of the webinar is the Ukrainian Horticultural Business Development Project (UHBDP). The online event is scheduled for November 17th. Speakers will be Alena Kolomoytseva, national project manager of the ITS "Assistance in the entry of small and medium-sized enterprises of the fruit and vegetable sector to foreign markets and their inclusion in value chains", and Voytanishek Darina, engineer for the implementation of new equipment and technologies, Sady Dnipra LLC (Dnepropetrovsk) ).
