President Volodymyr Zelenskyy believes that land reform has been slowed down.

He stated this at a press conference.

“Because there is no time for us to constantly get together and figure out how to do it, how quickly,” he said.

We remind:

Minister of Agrarian Policy Roman Leshchenko predicts that by the end of the year the average cost of a hectare will be about UAH 50 thousand and urges Ukrainians not to rush to sell land.

From July 1, 2021, Ukrainian citizens can legally buy and sell agricultural land.

Leshchenko said earlier that the price of land with the opening of the market will grow by 7-10% per year, which is associated, in particular, with global trends in food prices.

It was reported that as of August 1, the average price of 1 hectare of arable land in Ukraine is UAH 26.8 thousand, which practically corresponds to the average normative monetary value. This is significantly lower than the figure of 40 thousand hryvnias / ha previously named by the Ministry of Agrarian Policy.

As of September 13, 15,533 transactions were concluded within the land market, most often in the Poltava and Kiev regions.

Earlier, BAM wrote that the State Geocadastre discovered cases of illegal occupation of land plots by agrarians, and also in Ukraine they plan to create a system for automated monitoring of land relations of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy.
