Export
Export apples must be firm, weighing between 135 and 180 g, and free from finger dents.
Oleksandr Migalatyuk, deputy director of Gold Romi, which has 150 hectares of modern gardens in the Dniester district of the Chernivtsi region, told about this in an interview with the "Gardening in Ukrainian" magazine.
“About 50 to 50 products go to foreign and domestic markets,” he said. - About 300-400 tons out of 2.5 thousand tons this year we sent to the UAE. We send goods to Greece, African countries. We export apples through the USP company "
According to Alexander Migalatyuk, exporters have three requirements.
“The main thing is that they demand that there are no“ fingers ”on the fruits, so that they require the density and weight of the apple 135–180 g,” he said.
The deputy director also said that the enterprise did not sell apples in autumn, the apples were sent to storage in its own storage with a gas-controlled environment.
