In 2021, NIBULON expanded its export geography: shipments were made to 38 countries. For comparison, in 2020 this figure was 32 countries, and in 2017 - 23 countries.

According to Dmitry Furda, chief manager in the wholesale trade of grain crops at NIBULON, China remains the key importer, where about 1.5 million tons of corn and barley were shipped. The second place was taken by Egypt, where about 630 thousand tons of wheat and corn were shipped. Third place in Indonesia with a volume of 615 thousand tons. Also in 2021, new export destinations were opened - the countries of Africa and Asia (Nigeria, Cameroon, Ghana, Iraq).

Separately, it should be noted the wide geography of wheat exports, which includes 27 countries. In addition to those already mentioned, there are such unusual destinations for Ukraine as Mexico, Kenya, Oman, Tanzania, Uganda and Burundi.

“This year we plan to further expand the geography of exports, and already in January we have planned shipments of milling wheat to Algeria, for the first time in the history of the company. In addition, we plan to further increase cooperation with end-users in Southeast Asia, in particular with China and Indonesia, and in the future with Malaysia and the Philippines,” said Vladimir Slavinsky, Deputy General Director for Trade at NIBULON.

As a reminder, NIBULON achieved the best results in the shipment of agricultural products. We also wrote that NIBULON attracted 25 million euros from the EBRD.
