Turkey has lowered customs duties on imports of wheat, rye, oats, barley, corn, chickpeas and lentils to 0% until January 1, 2022.
This is reported by the country's official bulletin.
According to the Turkish Ministry of Commerce, the decision was made in order to prevent the growth of prices for cereals and pulses due to the epidemic of a new type of coronavirus (COVID-19) observed around the world, in order to keep domestic market prices at reasonable levels and prevent speculative price fluctuations.
In addition, Canada is interested in a trade partnership with Ukraine.
