In January-November of this year, Ukraine exported agri-food products (groups 1-24 of the UKTVED) for a total of $ 24.4 billion, exceeding the historical maximum of the shipments indicator recorded at the end of 2020 ($ 22.2 billion).
This was reported by the NSC "Institute of Agrarian Economics" with reference to the data of the State Customs Service.
“Thus, for the fourth time in a row, Ukraine has been updating the record of annual agricultural exports,” emphasized Nikolai Pugachev, director of the Institute of Agrarian Economics.
He also noted that record volumes this year reached the sale of Ukrainian pasta to foreign markets, which in 11 months amounted to 35 thousand tons.In addition, according to the predicted calculations of scientists, it is very likely that by the end of 2021, the historically maximum for Ukraine will be reached. poultry meat export volume.
“Until the end of 2021, these indicators will increase even more. But even now it can be argued that such positive results have been achieved due to the growth trend in world prices for all types of food, as well as the success of domestic exporters in segments where it was possible to fully use the existing conjuncture, satisfying the needs of consumers, ”concluded Pugachev.
