Over the year, the export of Ukrainian grain increased by almost 30%

From the beginning of the 2021/22 marketing year (July 1, 2021) to February 21, Ukraine exported 42.5 million tons of grain and leguminous crops. This is evidenced by the data of the "Information and analytical portal of the agro-industrial complex of Ukraine", informs Kurkul.com.
Thus, the export of grain in the current season is 11.5 million tons higher than the result of the same period of the last marketing year.
In particular, as of the reporting date, in the context of grain crops, Ukraine exported:
- wheat - 17.8 million tons (4 million tons more than in the same period of 2020/21 MY);
- barley - 5.5 million tons (1.6 million tons more);
- rye - 160.1 thousand tons (158.4 thousand tons more);
- corn - 18.6 million tons (5.5 million tons more).
