From January 1, 2022, the algorithm for obtaining a license to store fuel will be changed for business entities of all forms of ownership.

Recall that the acquisition, supply and storage of fuel is carried out by business entities of all forms of ownership only if they have a license to store fuel for their own needs (Article 15 of Law No. , alcoholic beverages, tobacco products and fuel ").

Currently, fuel storage licenses are issued for each fuel storage location. Licenses for the right to store fuel are issued at the location of the fuel storage facilities for a period of five years.

"Temporarily, until January 1, 2022, business entities can obtain a license for the right to produce fuel, the right to wholesale or retail fuel trade, or the right to store fuel without submitting an act of commissioning an object or an act of readiness of an object for operation, or a certificate of acceptance into operation. completed construction projects subject to the submission of copies of documents confirming the ownership of such real estate objects issued in accordance with the procedure established by law before January 1, 2014." - noted in LLC "Ukravtonomgaz".

That is, in order to obtain a license for storing fuel after January 1, 2022, a business entity will need to provide a complete list of documents with the application:

any intended purpose;

• an act of commissioning an object or an act of readiness of an object for operation, or a certificate of acceptance into operation of completed construction objects, or other documents confirming the acceptance of facilities in operation in accordance with the legislation, for all facilities, a place of wholesale or retail trade in fuel or storage of fuel required for wholesale or retail trade in fuel or storage of fuel;
• permission to perform work of increased danger and operation (use) of machines, mechanisms, equipment of increased danger.
