How to testify force majeure due to the war with the Russian Federation - clarification of the TTP
The Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Ukraine (hereinafter referred to as the CCI of Ukraine) testifies that the war of the Russian Federation against Ukraine and the introduction of martial law are grounds for force majeure.
This was reported by the press service of the TTP of Ukraine.
Recognition of force majeure acts on the basis of Art. 14, 14¹ of the Law of Ukraine “On Chambers of Commerce and Industry in Ukraine” dated 02.12.1997 No. 671/97-VR, Charter of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Ukraine.
With this in mind, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Ukraine confirms that these circumstances from February 24, 2022 until their official end are extraordinary, inevitable and objective circumstances for business entities and/or individuals under an agreement, separate tax and/or other obligations, the fulfillment of which/ the -th occurred in accordance with the terms of the agreement, contract, agreement, legislative or other regulatory acts and the performance in accordance with which the / -th became impossible within the prescribed period due to the occurrence of such force majeure circumstances (force majeure circumstances).

Given the above and the emergency, difficult situation that our country is facing, the Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, in order to simplify the procedure for certifying force majeure circumstances (force majeure circumstances), will post on February 28, 2022 on the website of the Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (www.ucci.org.ua) a general an official Letter from the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Ukraine on the force majeure certificate, which can be printed out to everyone concerned.
