The Verkhovna Rada today, January 26, during the meeting supported the bill No. 6070-1 (alternative bill No. 6070) as a basis, which will resolve the problems that have arisen in the field of conformity assessment and restore the possibility of introducing new models of tractors into circulation on the Ukrainian market.

The bill provides for the certification of new equipment directly by distributors supplying new models to the Ukrainian market. He also focuses on the fact that it is up to the Ministry of Agrarian Policy to determine the companies that have the right to issue such certificates, increasing control over the situation at the state level.

Also, the bill provides:

• supplement the powers of the central executive body that ensures the formation and implements the state agrarian policy by performing the functions of approving the type of agricultural and forestry tractors, their trailers and replaceable trailer equipment, systems, components and individual technical units, including by creating or authorizing a body (enterprise , institutions, organizations or their structural subdivisions) to carry out type approval activities;
• in the Law of Ukraine "On the system of engineering and technical support of the agro-industrial complex of Ukraine" to clarify the scope, relations, main tasks, subjects of the engineering and technical support system and their relationships, powers and tasks of the central executive body that ensures the formation of state agrarian policy and the central executive body the authorities implementing the state agricultural policy, the procedure for assessing and confirming the technical means of the agro-industrial complex with certain requirements, including agricultural and forestry vehicles, in terms of assessment and confirmation of compliance.

Recall that last year in Ukraine the registration, as well as the purchase / sale of new models of agricultural machinery that did not receive approval certificates, was limited for almost a year. Order of the Ministry of Economy dated July 8, 2021 No. 210 canceled documents authorizing certain authorities to issue these certificates.
