Poltava region will allocate more to support farmers
The program for the development and support of the agrarian complex of the Poltava region in priority areas, created to support small and medium-sized agricultural producers, employment of the rural population, will continue to work in 2022.

“In 2022, the program will continue to work. It is planned to allocate UAH 9.2 million for it,” the message says.
The Regional State Administration noted that last year 7.7 million hryvnias were allocated to finance the activities of the program. from the regional budget.
“Agrarians and farms of the Poltava region took advantage of the Program and received compensation from the regional budget in various areas. For example, they planted 6.5 hectares of new fruit and berry plantations and installed an irrigation system. We raised more than 90 cows, heifers and heifers, received certificates of conformity for organic products. In addition, 9 tractors, a car for transporting milk, milking equipment, equipment for cooling and determining indicators of milk quality, procurement and processing of feed were purchased. We received compensation in all these areas,” said Yevgeny Grekov, Deputy Chairman of the Regional State Administration.
He added that three farms were provided with loans in the amount of UAH 1.5 million. and in accordance with the submitted business plans, they use them to purchase livestock and upgrade equipment.
Last year, 16 farms took part in the program. Received financial support in the amount of UAH 2.6 million.
Thanks to the program, we bought 7 breeding heifers and a feed press. Support was also given to an ostrich farm.
