Expenditures on the agricultural sector will increase: the Verkhovna Rada approved the State budget for 2022

Today, December 2, 2021, MPs in parliament voted for the adoption of the revised state budget for 2022.The bill was supported by 268 MPs.
Recall that on October 20, the draft State Budget for 2022 was adopted. However, later amendments were made, for which the deputies voted.
In particular, the amended bill on the state budget for 2022 provides for an increase in expenses for the implementation of measures for the reconstruction, modernization and restoration of reclamation systems up to UAH 1 billion.
The 2022 State Budget provides UAH 4.6 billion in support of farmers:
- reimbursement of the cost of agricultural equipment;
- cheaper loans and insurance payments;
- development of animal husbandry, plant growing, horticulture, viticulture and hop growing;
- irrigation subsidy for 1200 agricultural producers.
Also, funds will be directed to:
- land reform - UAH 715 million;
- to create and update topographic maps and plans of 565.9 thousand km2 - UAH 329 million;
- for inventory of 1.7 million hectares of state land - UAH 220 million;
- for the development of reclamation complexes, the maintenance of water management systems - 2.7 billion UAH.
