A draft law has been registered in the Rada that will attract investors to the agricultural processing industry
The Verkhovna Rada has registered draft law No. 6554, which will simplify and reduce the cost of organizing production near the field, as well as attract investors to agricultural processing. .
“The purpose of the bill is to exempt persons investing in the development of industry and transport infrastructure in Ukraine from compensating for losses in agricultural and forestry production in the event of initiating the issue of changing the purpose of agricultural land plots for the construction and placement of industrial and transport facilities, which will contribute to the development of industry in Ukraine, including the deep processing of agricultural products in order to increase the added value of agricultural production, as well as the development of transport infrastructure facilities,” the explanatory note says.
The draft Law proposes to amend the Land Code of Ukraine, exempting from compensation for losses of agricultural and forestry production the case of initiating a change in the intended purpose of agricultural land for the construction of main, auxiliary and auxiliary buildings and structures of industrial, mining, transport and other enterprises, their access roads, engineering networks, administrative buildings, other structures, public road construction facilities, places of worship, airports and infrastructure facilities of airports, airfields and airfield facilities.
“Bill No. 6554 will simplify the organization of production near the field and reduce the cost of this process. In particular, to exempt such producers from 30% of the cost of the regulatory monetary assessment. The bill will not only remove an unnecessary bureaucratic barrier for launching new production facilities, but can become a good incentive for investment projects in the field of agricultural processing,” MP Galina Yanchenko, one of its authors, said in a telegram channel.
