The pig-breeding enterprise "Zootekhnologiya" (Berislavsky district of the Kherson region) continues to work, but has a problem with protein-mineral vitamin supplements (PMVD).

“We are provided with barley, wheat - local farmers deliver it. But we do not have enough BMVD,” he said. – sows lose weight; those who do not have milk after farrowing. Weaned piglets also need quality feed.”

According to Vadim Demidenko, they used to cooperate with a company from Nova Kakhovka, but now it is impossible to cross the dam: the loudspeaker is on the other side of the Dnieper, in Novoraysk.

In recent years, after a rise in grain prices, the farm has reduced the fattening of pigs and focused on the sale of piglets. Currently, "Zootekhnologiya" has 770 sows. They need 6 tons of BMVD per week.

“And these needs will grow,” Vadim Demidenko noted, “because now no one will take piglets from us. 450 piglets are born weekly. Therefore, over time, they too will need supplements.”

At the same time, "Zootekhnologiya" has areas for placing piglets for fattening.

“Maybe someone will be interested in just fattening animals on our site - this is possible,” said Vadim Demidenko. - We also have a slaughterhouse, but in Skadovsk. Now there is no way to get there ... ".

There is also a need for veterinary drugs, he added.
