NPP Globinsky Pig Complex has managed to reduce the use of antibiotics and zinc oxide by 50% in almost six months, writes The Ukrainian Farmer magazine.
Such results were achieved thanks to the use of the products of Trau Nutrishin Ukraine at the nucleus farm, said Vitaliy Pilipenko, head of its sales department. On this site, F1 gilts are grown, with which all other farms of the Globinsky pig complex are equipped.
According to him, Trau Nutrishin Ukraine has been working for several years to resolve the issue of production without the use of antibiotics.
“To achieve the above results, we used probiotics (Levuccel) and a synergistic mixture of organic, short- and medium-chain fatty acids (Selacid Green Growth),” said Vitaly Pilipenko. “All these products are registered and allowed both in Ukraine and in the European Union”.
