Industrial fishing of bioresources in the Sea of Azov has started
Since September 1, the fishing began:
- Khumys by purse seines and multidepth trawls in the pre-intertidal zone of the Sea of Azov and in the Kerch Strait, as well as by fixed seines in the five-kilometer coastal zone of the Sea of Azov. Ends on December 20, 2021;
- Small mass species of fish (khamsa, tulka, perkarina, aterina) in the five-kilometer coastal zone of the Sea of Azov. It is prolonged till November 30, 2021.
Also, from September 1, the fishing is restored:
- Mackerel, mackerel and garfish by fixed nets in five-kilometer coastal zone of the Azov Sea from the end of Belosarayskiy spit including Belosarayskiy, Berdyanskiy and Obitniy bay, is prolonged till November 30, 2021;
- The fishing campaign will be carried out by fixed-fishing nets and caravs in the five-kilometer coastal zone of the Sea of Azov from the lighthouse of the Biryuchy island spit to the edge of the Belosarayskiy spit, which will continue until the end of the year;
- Pilengas by fixed nets, lifting plants, caravs in the coastal zone of five-kilometer zone of the Azov Sea along the Ukrainian coast from the end of the Spit of Bilosarayskiy, Berdyanskiy, Obitov bay and utlyuksky estuary to Cape Khroni, and also in the Kerch Strait and will last until December 31, 2021.
During the same period, fishing for Azov kalkan with single-walled nets in the five-kilometer coastal zone of the Azov Sea along the Ukrainian coast from the end of Belosarayskiy spit to Cape Khroni is allowed.
The same time limits apply to fishing for chironomid larvae in fishery water bodies (their parts) of the Azov Basin, including Genichesky and Novotroitsky areas of Kherson region, including permanent and temporary salt lakes and salt lakes formed by filling the bed after precipitation or connection with lakes.

Recall, almost 70 thousand brook trout fry were stocked in the Prut River
