The poultry population in the Chernihiv region as of October 1, 2021, compared to the corresponding period of 2020, increased by 84.2 thousand heads. or 37.5% and amounts to 308.5 thousand heads.
This was reported in the Department of Agroindustrial Development of the Chernihiv Regional State Administration.
The number of pigs increased by 2.5% and amounted to 137.9 thousand heads. The livestock of cattle decreased by 5% and amounts to 91.5 thousand heads.
