According to experts, they usually counterfeit products of well-known brands, which are in demand among consumers. As noted in the company, the seeds of sunflower and corn of the Limagrain selection are increasingly being mined.

“The price of counterfeit seeds is usually significantly lower than original seeds, but it should be noted that in recent years, scammers have been adapting the price of counterfeit seeds to the original seeds. The damage caused by counterfeiting can reach appalling proportions, even lead to a complete loss of crops, ”added the press service.

In order not to acquire forgery, experts recommend:

• buy seeds only from official distributors;
• equire a certificate for seeds and be sure to check the compliance of the information in the certificate and on the blue label on the bag (batch number and country of seed production must match);
• do not trust unreliable copies of certificates;
• in case of suspicion of forgery, contact the representative office of the company.
