Farmers collect 1 million dry rations for people in the zone of active hostilities

The Agroprodservice company joined the collection of 1 million long-term food packages for the most vulnerable categories of the population affected by shelling or under them - a kind of dry rations that can be easily transported.

Oleg Udich, media consultant of Agroprodservis, told AgroTimes about this.

“This is necessary to make it impossible for a humanitarian catastrophe in the shelled cities. Farmers from almost all of Ukraine are actively joining this initiative in order to fill these sets with different products,” he said.

On the basis of the company's warehouses, he launched a coordination headquarters for supporting the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Within the framework of the project, he coordinates the work of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and the Ministry of Social Policy.

"Nova Poshta and other carriers can act as a partner, which will help build logistics," added Oleg Udich.

Now we are talking about the first stage, he said. There is a list of necessary products. Agroprodservis, for its part, has already allocated 50,000 cans of canned meat.

Sets of them are assembled and packaged at the Ternopil Meat Processing Plant, which is part of the company's structure - it provided its warehouses free of charge (Promyshlennaya St., 1, Ostrov village, Velykoberezovitskaya community).

Contact numbers of operational duty officers: (050) 437-50-70, (095) 268-32-29, (067) 678-59-13, (067) 678-59-16 (from 8:00 to 20:00) .

“We also attract volunteers with their own vehicles, who can drive up to those people who can allocate products, but cannot transport them to the packing site,” said Oleg Udich.

As soon as the kits are ready, they will move on to the second stage - sending them to those in need, both ministries will coordinate this process.

As Ivan Tchaikovsky, the founder of Agroproservice, and now a people's deputy, noted on his Facebook page, the coordinating headquarters is working at 200% of its capacity.

“Just yesterday, thanks to agricultural producers, agro-processors, communities from Western Ukraine and ordinary Ukrainians, we accumulated almost 60 tons of products in warehouses,” he said. - Just yesterday, patrons paid another 300 tons of products, which today or tomorrow will come to our warehouse for packaging. Approximately 100 volunteers work daily to unload, receive, stock and pack products.”

Meanwhile, Agroprodservis enterprises are now working without changes, Oleg Udich noted.
