The government will ensure the stable work of food producers during the war

The government adopted Decree No. 160 "On ensuring the stable operation of food producers under martial law."
This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Economy of Ukraine.
The document will guarantee the uninterrupted operation of food enterprises and the supply of products to the population.
"In order for manufacturers to be able to carry out their activities, even in this extremely difficult time, the maximum payment period for domestically produced goods has been set - no later than 10 days after the invoice for the supplied products is issued," the First Vice Prime Minister detailed. Minister of Economy of Ukraine Yulia Sviridenko.
The list of goods covered by the document was approved by the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine dated April 22, 2020 No. 341 "On measures to stabilize prices for goods of significant social significance, anti-epidemic goods". These are buckwheat, sugar, flour, bread, milk, pasta, eggs, chicken, butter, drinking water.
“In extreme conditions, we must maintain access for our citizens to the necessary socially significant food products. Especially for vulnerable categories of the population - the elderly and single people, large families, the poor, ”added Yulia Sviridenko.
