The Cabinet of Ministers allowed the sale of imported products and feed without labeling in Ukrainian.

This is stated in resolution No. 234 of March 9.

“We are doing everything to ensure that the supply of imported food and feed products under martial law is stable. First of all, the balance of food products, the production of meat and dairy products and the food security of the state depend on this.
We have eliminated bureaucratic barriers that hinder the import of imported products during the war,” said Roman Leshchenko, Minister of Agrarian Policy.

According to the resolution, food market operators, feed market operators may sell food products in the customs territory of Ukraine, information about which is presented in a language other than the state language.

In addition, labeling of food and feed products that are imported (sent) to the customs territory of Ukraine as humanitarian aid may be written in a language other than the state language.

"In the event that capacities are closed as a result of military (combat) actions, market operators can use the remains of packaging or containers for food and feed for their intended purpose at other facilities producing similar food and feed," Leshchenko added.
