Sugar price stabilized in Ukraine - Ministry of Agrarian Policy
In the domestic market, a slight decrease and slowdown in the growth rate of food prices is recorded. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy.
According to operational data of the Regional State Administration, in November against October this year, millet groats fell in price by 1%, buckwheat groats - 1%. In particular, the price of sugar has returned to normal.
Also, compared to last year, the price of potatoes decreased by 16%. Prices for cattle, pigs and poultry (chickens) remain stable.
There was an increase in prices on the domestic food market for the following types of agricultural products: cabbage by 10%, beets and onions by 4%, carrots by 3%.
A specific factor behind the increase was the increase in production costs due to high price pressure from the energy market.
“Ensuring price stability in the food market is a constant focus of government attention. The analysis of the situation of changes in prices for socially significant goods is carried out, and in case of their unjustified growth, appropriate actions are taken, ”the press service of the Ministry of Agriculture reports.
