Sowing season-2022: farmers of Volyn went into the field

Agricultural producers of the Volyn region have started spring field work.
This is stated in the message of the Volyn Regional State Administration.
As noted, the agrarians of the region sowed 228 thousand hectares of winter crops for the harvest-2022. Including more than 170 thousand hectares of winter cereals for grain and almost 50 thousand hectares of winter rapeseed.
“All winter crops are in good and satisfactory condition. Farmers are actively working on their feeding. As of March 10, more than 45,000 hectares of winter crops have already been fed, including the first feeding of rapeseed, which is almost completed,” the report says.
Now preparations are underway for sowing spring crops. The priority is wheat, corn for grain, barley and buckwheat.
