In Ukraine, mineral fertilizers have already been purchased by 80%, and this is enough to get an above-average yield.
This was stated by First Deputy Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food Taras Vysotsky on Hromadske Radio.
“Seeds are 75% already in Ukraine. Means of protection by 55%. We still have time to eliminate these small shortages before May-June. We plan to receive fuel by establishing transportation, changing directions,” the First Deputy Minister added.
He noted that the 2022 sowing campaign will be the most difficult in the history of independent Ukraine.
“It will start later, given the long winter. We expect that it will start in the southern regions in about a week. On a large scale in Ukraine - after April 10," said Taras Vysotsky.
