Fearless Ukrainian farmers, despite the hostilities, take to the fields to provide the world with agricultural products. So, now begins the most difficult spring sowing season in 2022 in the history of independent Ukraine.

This was announced on his Facebook page by Roman Leshchenko, Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food.

“At this most difficult time for our state, we have a very important mission to provide Ukraine with food in full,” says Roman. - I appeal to every agrarian, to everyone who is involved in the agricultural, fish, livestock industries. You are an army that can endure, you are our hope."

The minister also notes that the government has introduced the reservation of those liable for military service. Agricultural enterprises and food producers can submit lists of critical workers to the Ministry of Agrarian Policy who will be granted a deferment from military service during mobilization and wartime.

“Now millions of Ukrainians rely on us, because you, farmers, are the basis of the economic development of the state. Therefore, the Ministry of Agrarian Policy has taken on additional functions to coordinate the distribution of everything that is necessary to ensure the sowing campaign-2022 (diesel, seeds, fertilizers, protective equipment). A special platform agrostatus.org has been created for this. On it you need to fill out a special application for your needs. Further, the Ministry of Agrarian Policy through the means of communication will guide all further actions,” said Roman Leshchenko.
