More than 100 hectares of gardens were planted in the Lviv region in a year

In the Lviv region, 31 enterprises in the field of viticulture, horticulture and hop growing will receive 19.2 million UAH of state support for the current year and additional financing for previous years.
This was reported by the press service of the Department of Agroindustrial Development of the Lviv Regional State Administration.
The amount of expenses in the areas of purchasing planting material for fruit and berry crops, grapes and hops, carrying out work and purchasing materials for the construction of wallpaper and installation of drip irrigation systems, the purchase of machinery, mechanisms and equipment for work in horticulture is 35.2 million UAH.
“About 180 business entities are engaged in gardening in the Lviv region. Over the past four years, agricultural enterprises of the region have laid about 750 hectares of plantations of fruit and berry crops, this year they have laid new plantings on an area of 104 hectares,” said Tatyana Getman, director of the department of agro-industrial development of the regional state administration.
