Corteva launched a program at Uman Horticultural University
The international agricultural research company Corteva Agriscience has launched the Corteva Grows curriculum to support agricultural education in Ukraine, which will be implemented at the Uman National University of Horticulture for students majoring in Economics.
According to the company, the training program includes two semesters - autumn and spring, during which students of economics will listen to online lectures on finance, marketing and digital technologies from Corteva specialists, based on the best practices, experience and achievements of an international company. which operates in 130 countries of the world and has more than 150 research centers, including in Ukraine.
Corteva also provided the necessary computer hardware and software for the formation of a virtual library on business topics and will help senior students with their practical experience in the business environment.
The Corteva Grows program is implemented as part of the company's 2030 Sustainable Development Goals, which envisage attracting young people to the agricultural business and motivating them to build a career in it. It promotes the modernization of higher agricultural education by adapting to the requirements and needs of the labor market, as well as training specialists capable of applying the latest techniques, modern knowledge and skills in agricultural science and production.
