Ukraine and China will create a council for international agricultural cooperation

The memorandum on the establishment of the Chinese-Ukrainian Council for International Agricultural Cooperation was signed on November 11, 2021 during an online conference on cooperation in the agricultural sector.

This is stated in the message of the State Food and Grain Corporation of Ukraine, whose representatives also took part in the event.

Deputy Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food Taras Vysotsky and Head of the State Service of Ukraine for Food Safety and Consumer Protection Vladislava Magaletskaya, who represented Ukraine, noted that China is a strategic partner of Ukraine in the field of agriculture and the parties should more actively develop this area.

The corporation stressed that the State Food and Grain Corporation of Ukraine is interested in the further development of Ukrainian-Chinese cooperation in the field of agriculture, in particular, in resolving the issue of certification of Ukrainian wheat in the PRC, which will contribute to the expansion of the grain pool exported to China.
