Mikhail Krishko, BEDNAR Director in Ukraine and Moldova, noted that in August-September, most imported agricultural machinery manufacturers increased prices for their units by an average of 10-20%.
Kurkul.com writes about this with reference to the material “Mikhail Kryshko on the super demand for equipment, the “death” of plows and a new wave of price growth in 2022.”
“Unfortunately, the rise in the cost of components, materials and energy carriers continues. The shortage of all this entails a further rise in prices. I think that during the next season, all agricultural machinery manufacturers will increase prices by at least another 5-10%. That is, since the beginning of the pandemic, the rise in prices will, on average, exceed 20%,” says Mikhail Krishko, director of BEDNAR in Ukraine and Moldova.
But BEDNAR worked in Ukraine for the whole of 2021 at the price of 2020 and maintained this level until December. Therefore, thanks to the planned work, the company's customers did not feel the rise in price until December 2021.
“As for our performance, in 2021 Ukraine became the first among BEDNAR markets in terms of the number of units sold and the second in terms of cash turnover. That is, in Ukraine, we sold more aggregates quantitatively than all markets in the world, ”Mikhail summed up.
