Sunflower pellets are more efficient than other types of solid fuels - experience
Sunflower pellets have the highest coefficient of performance (COP) compared to wood and sunflower pellets.
This experience was shared in The Ukrainian Farmer magazine by specialists from the PSP "Consent".
In an agricultural enterprise, the dryer runs on three types of solid fuels.
Grafting pellets are made independently. Depending on the type of wood, humidity and other characteristics, the cost of removing one ton-percent is 4.5–7 kg.
The company buys sunflower and corn pellets.
In the PSP "Consent" it was studied that during drying, 5-6 kg of sunflower pellets are used to remove one ton-percent, and corn - less than 4 kg. At the same time, the price of pellets from different materials differs insignificantly (sunflower - 4750 UAH / t, corn - 5150 UAH / t).
“Corn pellet has the same good qualities, and its efficiency is generally the highest among all types of solid fuel used by the economy,” the Soglasie ATP is sure.
Recall that drying on pellets or biomass is 4-5 times cheaper than on gas.
