The first waste processing line in the region was opened in Sumy region
Trade, investment
“The issue of separate collection of solid household waste and their disposal is very important. After all, this is our ecology, our health, – said Dmitry Zhivitsky. – Therefore, I would like to thank the company for opening a modern sorting line. This is the first such line for separating solid household waste in the Sumy region. It's nice that there are investors who today invest their own funds in sorting, processing, create new jobs and are worried about the ecology of Sumy oblast”.
According to the founder of A-Musson LLC Anatoly Makovsky, according to the program of the President of Ukraine “5-7-9”, UAH 7 million was spent on the construction of a sorting line. The rest of the loan was spent on replenishment of working capital.
The head of the regional state administration noted: “It is very important that such a primary processing of waste sorting has appeared in the city of Sumy. Sumy is the center of one of the three clusters under the Regional Waste Management Plan. Such clusters are also planned in Shostka and Konotop. And it is in Sumy that a waste recycling plant should appear over time”.
The company also demonstrated modern underground waste bins. One such tank replaces 6 conventional tanks.
“Today we talked with representatives of the city council that modern underground tanks should appear in the city of Sumy next year. Unfortunately, the city of Sumy plans to install such tanks for budgetary funds, although the investor offers to do this at his own expense, – said Dmitry Zhivitsky. – It seems to me that it would be right to build in Sumy interaction with enterprises that collect and transport solid waste, according to the scheme of investing the funds of these enterprises themselves. And this should be a condition of the competition for garbage disposal”.
