Beets rose in price in the south by 12% in a week
Prices for vegetables of the borscht set in the south of Ukraine, mainly in the growing region, have practically stabilized at a high level. However, beet prices rose to 12% over the week due to lack of supply amid stable demand.
Thus, at the largest farmer's wholesale market in the South "Nezhdan" in the village of Bolshiye Kopani in the Kherson region, prices for beets rose from UAH 10-14/kg to UAH 15-16/kg over the week.
Carrots, like last week - for 12-13 UAH/kg, large root crops can be bought for 9 UAH/kg.
Red-headed cabbage has the same price as white cabbage - 15-16 UAH/kg. Young cabbage from booths - 20 UAH / kg.
Yellow onions - from 9 to 11 UAH / kg. Red onion - 10 each, white - 13 UAH / kg.
Pumpkin also for 7 UAH/kg.
Stable and the price of potatoes - from 5.5 to 7 UAH / kg, especially large ones are sold at 8 UAH / kg.
