Claas and Rolls-Royce sign new engine supply agreement

The German company Claas has signed a new agreement with Rolls-Royce to supply MTU engines over the next few years.

Each year, Claas reportedly purchases several thousand 1000-1500 series engines for its Lexion and Tucano combines, Jaguar forage harvesters and Xerion tractors. These are 240-643 hp engines. for Daimler trucks adapted for agricultural vehicles.
Engines meet Stage V emission requirements and Tier 4 Final, which is required in Canada and the United States.
