Information on division into land shares has been added to the Public Cadastral Map
On the Public Cadastral Map, a new information layer "Information on the division into land shares" has appeared, containing data on individual collective agricultural enterprises and a link to download the metadata portal (works in test mode in connection with modernization) of land management projects, on the basis of which land was allocated shares to employees of former collective farms. This was reported by the press service of the State Geocadastre.
It is noted that today the metadata portal contains 43,225 geo-linked and correspondingly transformed digital raster images of privatization plans in relation to 6,499 collective agricultural enterprises.
The publication of georeferenced land management projects, on the basis of which land shares were allocated, will provide information on the results of privatization and the location of land plots, even in relation to those lands that are not registered in the State Land Cadastre and the State Register of Property Rights.
Thanks to this, farms and agricultural enterprises will receive additional data (primary documentation on land management) for better management of their land bank.
“Access to such information is very important for local governments, which have recently received the right to dispose of land outside of settlements. They will use this information to conduct an inventory and audit of their land resources, identify vacant or occupied land when making decisions on granting permission for free privatization, and also allow avoiding the imposition of boundaries of some plots on others when forming new land plots, ”says on the website of the State Geocadastre.
The department adds that the data will also be useful in the development of comprehensive plans for the spatial development of community territories, given that, in accordance with the law, all shares that will remain unclaimed until 2025 must be transferred to communal ownership.
