Land management projects will be developed according to the new rules
As part of the implementation of the land reform, the government adopted the Rules for the development of working drafts of land management, which fix the norms for compiling relevant documentation.
This was reported by the Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine Roman Leshchenko.
According to him, the developers of land management documentation have now received a list of qualitative and quantitative requirements that should be applied to the relevant working projects.
The Resolution fixes the requirements for the development of working projects in order to:
• reclamation of disturbed lands;
• removal and transfer of fertile soil layer;
• conservation of degraded and unproductive lands;
• improvement of agricultural and forestry lands;
• protection of lands from erosion, flooding, swamping, secondary salinization, drying, landslides, compaction, acidification, pollution by industrial and other wastes, radioactive and chemical substances.
“The existence of clear unified requirements will improve the quality of work performed and will prevent abuses in the land sector,” Roman Leshchenko emphasized.
