The State Geocadastre announced the lack of funds for the digitization of the land fund
The cost of digitizing the land management fund and assessing the archives' lands is tentatively estimated at UAH 200.5 million. and there are no funds for these expenses in the state budget for 2022. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy.
“According to the State Geocadastre, today the digitization of materials from the State Fund for Documentation on Land Management and Land Assessment is being introduced. The current legislation provides for the transfer of materials from the land management fund and land assessment into electronic form and their transfer from the districts to the regional departments of the State GeoCadastre. This will allow them to be promptly used by the bodies of the State Geocadastre and state registrars,” the report says.
It is noted that communities and local governments continue to apply to the State Geocadastre with a request to leave the archives at the disposal of the districts.
Given the circumstances that have developed with the financing of the digitization of documents, communities, if there are free funds in the budget, can independently digitize the materials of the land management fund, leaving electronic copies of the archives for their own use and the provision of high-quality administrative services,” the Ministry of Agrarian Policy said.
